Henry was a member of The Temple, the Jewish Community Center, the St. Joe was a veteran of the Air Force during the Korean War.Matthews Rotary Club and was a former President of the Louisville Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) and former co-chair of the United Way. He graduated from the University of Kentucky, a pharmicist, and operated Rouben's Pharmacy for 40 years.She was one of three children born to the late Milton and Minnie Palestrant and was the beloved wife of Robert Gould for over 50 years. Richard Gould, and will forever be remembered by her devoted daughters, Carol Small and Barbara De Vuono; loving sons-in-law, Hal Klein and Rick De Vuono; treasured grandchildren: Lindsey (Michael) Delrahim, Ryan Small of Chicago, IL, Paul (Eleyah) Frields, Kevin Frields, and Erin (James) Ralph of Virginia; many precious great-grandchildren, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her.
The family immigrated to America in 1924, and Frank frew up in Bloomfield, NJ.Bert, a native Louisvillian, attended the University of Louisville.He was President of Kaden Companies, a commercial real estate development, investment and management company.He graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1938, Union College in 1942, and Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1946. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren: Jacob, Henry, Leo, and Lena. Louis, MO; daughter, Connie Rieser (Rabbi Louis) of Windham, NH; brother, Ivan Goldstein (Ruth); 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.Following postgraduate training at Kings County Hospital in New York City, and Brooklyn State Hospital, he served as a Captain in the United States Army in New Cumberland, PA through 1949. He was the former partner with his brother in Brill's Pharmacy on Bardstown Road for 40 years. She is survived by her beloved daughters: Susan Goodman and Robin Goodman (Lydia Pritchard); sisters: Sonia Davidson and Florence Weinstein of Connecticut; and brothers: Leo (Shirley), Alvin (Linda) and Herschel Borowick.
